The Mercedes-Benz 560SEC AMG Wide Body is one of the most iconic AMG vehicles ever built. Based on the standard 560 SEC, the AMG featured the same 300bhp 5.6-litre V8, but bored out to 6.0-litres – boosting the power to 385bhp. This additional power helped propel the car from 0-60 in under 6 seconds – a phenomenal figure at the time for a vehicle of this stature. Not only that, but the AMG model was also fitted with a bespoke ‘Wide Body’ aero kit, stiffened suspension, larger disc brakes, and much more. Inside, the AMG was also equipped with electronically adjustable Recaro seats, additional walnut wood trim, an AMG specific steering wheel, and chrome door sills. It is the opinion of many that the 560 SEC AMG was, and still ,is the ultimate AMG Mercedes.
Various optional extras were fitted to the car from factory such as automatic climate control, a fire extinguisher and heated front seats. The car is in very good condition inside and out, and features the correct Blue-Black metallic paint and black leather interior. Overall the car runs well and is in very good condition, and comes with a good history file.
